ZHAW

Miro
MIRO develops gas analyzers which use direct laser absorption spectroscopy in the mid-infrared region to determine the concentration of gas molecules. This spectral fingerprint region provides the highest possible precision for most gases. By combining several laser sources the analyzers can measure multiple gas compounds in a single instrument. The analyzers with the associated powerful tools are used for example by authorities, scientists and companies to monitor and report on air pollution and greenhouse gases.
- Sotronik supports MIRO to develop the instrument’s software in LabVIEW, which controls the measurement process, retrieves the results from spectral data and provides online access through several interfaces.
Kanton Zürich
Together with the ARGEV, the Specialized Office for School Assessment developed a standard for assessing elementary schools across cantons. We decided to use an Excel tool to carry out and evaluate the classroom surveys.
- Sotronik thinks about this topic, accepts the wishes and requirements of ARGEV and the cantons and defines a practical tool. The implementation is configured and programmed by Sotronik in an Excel file.
